Ambient is an annual event that presents ambitious electronic music. The concept of the event is to present what is happening in the contemporary ambient electronic music to wider audience. The Concerts are often accompanied by the visualistions prepared by the artists.
The promoter of the festival is the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the City Councel in Gorlice Gorlickie Centre of Culture, Art Director Tadeusz Łuczejko.

I hope that 2010 Ambient festival's roster was to your liking and concerts were even better of what you expected to hear and see. There have been rumor, that Biosphere's performance at Ambient 2010 was one of the best from all of his polish concerts. Well, I have seen all of them and yes, I really enjoyed Geir's performance at Ambient 2010. Geir's five time encore in front of Gorlice's audience itself is a proof, that there was something very special going on.
Also, as the very tradition of the festival, it is planed to end the event with a campfire, where artists and audience together can spend some good time. We know this is a highlight for many, as there is no that much opportunity to talk to Geir Jensen, Tobby Marks - or any other artist who performed or who will perform at Ambient Festival in the future - and to talk at the campfire the very dawn.
